Vision of Love

“I feel like it’s a big accomplishment to give them a home” – Ceila

“It’s the best feeling ever that I’m able, on my own, to provide security and a home for [my girls]. To let them know everything will be all right!” Ceila said. Her affordable mortgage means she can spend more time being there for her daughters. “In my girls’ eyes, I’m the best mom already but I feel like it’s a big accomplishment to give them a home,” Ceila said. Over at Daniela Bernal’s house the vision is “pink everything.” Daniela says her 4-year-old daughter is excited to decorate her room in pink and grateful she’ll have enough space to accommodate a Barbie doll house. Daniela’s vision is a little more practical. She’s hopeful their new home will provide a better life for her daughter.

“I’m excited to create an environment for my daughter that’s not for a year – but permanent.” – Daniela

“I can picture her doing her homework, hanging her artwork, and having her friends over,” Daniela said. “I’m excited to create an environment for my daughter that’s not for a year—but permanent.” Daniela is also looking forward to fleeting moments like hosting birthday parties, making the holidays feel special (the way her mother did), and watching her daughter splash around in a kiddie pool in their new backyard. Her home will give her the space needed to be the best mother possible. It will also give her daughter the kind of stability that leads to improved math and reading scores and an edge when it comes to earning potential. “A good mother is supporting the child 100%. Giving love no matter what,” said Daniela. That’s why she’s ready to cement memories, provide stability, and transform their new house into a forever home for her daughter— because that’s just what good mothers do.
