Director of Store Operations and Facilities

Director of Store Operations & Facilities needed for Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio and Guadalupe Valley, a large non-profit, single-family home builder and social service provider that owns and operates four (4) home improvement stores that sell donated and purchased home improvement products to the general public at significantly discounted prices. We are seeking a results-oriented candidate with excellent skills for this important position.

If you are an energetic person with good personnel management and multi-store operation skills and are looking for a meaningful job, with good pay, GREAT benefits, and a stable employer, we could be the place for you! Residential Construction Director/ Assistant Vice President of Construction

Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio is looking for an experienced construction program and personnel manager to lead our talented construction team and coordinate multiple building models that produce 70-80 homes per year.  The ideal candidate for this critical position will be decisive, organized, detail oriented, problem solver, excellent at follow-through, flexible, able to set priorities, self-motivated, and have excellent judgment and leadership skills. Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager (full-time) needed for Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio, a large, ecumenical, Christian, non-profit organization that is looking for an independent, self-starter that wants to join and lead a fun and experienced team.

 

Our office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some overtime is required during peak accounting times. Part-Time Construction Leaders/Foreman

Part-time Construction Leaders/Foreman needed on Fridays and Saturdays or Saturdays only for approximately 8 to 10 weeks at a time for Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio, TX. Experience and knowledge of the residential construction process are required. We provide the building plans, daily task list, tools, materials, and eager volunteer builders. You provide the leadership to get the day’s activities done! Must be able to perform tasks without direct supervision. EOE. Email resume to Jobs@HabitatSA.org and list DAYLDR in the subject line. Full-Time Store Clerk (Probandt)

Full-time store clerk needed at the Habitat Home Center located at 311 Probandt, 78204.  Customer service/warehouse experience preferred, bilingual a plus with attention to detail and outgoing personality.  4 day work week. No nights and No Sundays.  Clean background and driving record required (background check will be done).  Work may include but is not limited to loading/unloading cargo containers, assisting customers with purchases, stocking inventory, driving trucks with 16′ trailers, driving forklifts and heavy lifting.  Schedule: TBD.  Pay: $15.00 per hour plus benefits which include paid vacation leave, sick leave, retirement and medical insurance.  EOE.  Apply in person at 311 Probandt, 78204. Customer service/warehouse experience preferred, bilingual a plus with attention to detail and outgoing personality. 4 day work week. No nights and No Sundays. Clean background and driving record required (background check will be done). Work may include but is not limited to loading/unloading cargo containers, assisting customers with purchases, stocking inventory, driving forklifts, and heavy lifting. Schedule: TBD. Pay: $15.00 per hour plus benefits which include paid vacation leave, sick leave, retirement, and medical insurance. EOE. Apply in person at 8125 Meadow Leaf Dr., 78227. Inventory Manager (Walzem)

Inventory Manager needed at the Habitat Home Center located at 5482 Walzem Rd., 78218.  This position is well suited for a bright, energetic person who is detail oriented, work focused and self motivated.  This position will work directly with the Store Managers to oversee the efficient maintenance of merchandise on the sales floor to include the following:

*instruct and utilize store staff, volunteers and community service workers to effectively stock and price merchandise on the sales floor and maintain an organized back stock
*maintain an adequate inventory of merchandise on the sales floor
*ensure that all merchandise is properly priced and prices are clearly apparent
*assist with all aspects of inventory control
*evaluate and price incoming donated goods
*check in all incoming freight and ensure receiving paperwork is accurate and in order
*assist management with recycling efforts
*assist management in implementing and enforcing all safety related issues
*be a dependable problem solver with cash register and POS issues
*other duties as assigned

Qualification include:

*two years of retail store or warehouse management experience
*experience in evaluating and pricing used home improvement merchandise
*cash register experience
*proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
*ability to work a 4 day week with 10 hour days while traversing a large facility
*ability to lift and carry 50 + pounds
*knowledge of home improvement products preferred

This is a full time position with great benefits including employer paid health, life, and disability insurance; employer matching retirement plan; a fabulous holiday schedule; and paid vacation and sick leave. Inventory Managers generally work a four day week which includes Saturdays. No Sunday or night hours! EOE.
