Deconstruction Leader (Full-time)

We are seeking a Deconstruction Leader for our material salvage program. The position is responsible for scheduling and enacting the removal of reusable materials from renovation projects. Qualified candidates will have a background in residential construction or remodeling, an outgoing and friendly personality, clean driving record, experience pulling a trailer, and clear criminal history. Family Services Assistant (Part-time)

This position has flexible hours; approximately 25 hours per week ($13 per hour). A qualified candidate will be self-motivated and highly productive, outgoing with solid public speaking skills, energetic and enthusiastic about helping families achieve the dream of homeownership. Habitat is an EOE.

Requirements:

  • Must be a non-smoker.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, & speak).
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a personal vehicle (business mileage is paid)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with staff, volunteers, families and members of the community.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, based on long and short-term goals and meet deadlines.

This position will include:

  • Process and communicate to prospective clients the results of their affordable mortgage analysis.
  • Counsel prospective applicants on resolving matters preventing their ability to enter or stay in the Habitat program.
  • Assist with target marketing activities and events to recruit family applicants for the Habitat home-buying program.
  • Assist with coordination of homeowner readiness educational activities.
  • Assist with data entry and processing inquiries regarding the program
  • Liaison with walk-in clients and prospective clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
