San Antonio Mayor to Visit Construction Site

San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro will make a stop at Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio’s Palo Alto Community at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, to visit with Home Depot and HFHSA executives.

Home Depot employees and vendors will spend the day working on the construction site Wednesday. Home Depot Foundation is sponsoring four homes with HFHSA during its 2010 build season.

More than 300 Home Depot employees and vendors worked a day late last month when construction began on the first two of the four homes. Approximately 500 are expected tomorrow when construction on the second two homes will begin. All four homes will be complete in August.
