This holiday, make the most of your money by giving a gift that gives back to the community. When you make a donation to Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio in honor of another person, you spread the joy of the season by supporting the housing needs of low-income San Antonio families and you also get to cross a name off your gift list! This alternative gift is a great idea for everyone on your list, from a neighbor to your brother or sister.
And it’s easy! Come by our office to pick up cards that you mail to each gift recipient and drop off your donation in their honor. Or you can take a few minutes to write down the names and addresses of your friends and family, write a check to make your donation in honor of your gift recipients, and send it to us. That’s all you need to do – we’ll take care of everything else! We’ll send each person a card letting them know you made a holiday donation in his or her honor (Note: we don’t include the amount of gift).
You can make as many gifts as you wish (we do require a minimum gift of $10 per person on your list), and then sit back and spend the rest of your time truly enjoying the holidays. It will make the season even better knowing your gifts helped spread holiday cheer in the community.
