Mortgage Specialist
Mortgage Specialist needed at Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio, Texas. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience.
This position is well suited for a bright, energetic multi-tasker, who is extremely detail oriented, work-focused and self-motivated. Must be a non-smoker.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze Mortgage Counseling Questionnaires
- Underwrite client mortgage applications
- Complete the final financial review of clients
- Gather, coordinate and process all documents needed to submit for funding
- Gathering acceptable information from insurance providers, taxing authorities, courthouse filing fees, funder deed restrictions, etc
- Prepare closing profiles for attorney ensuring accuracy
- Receive and proof all legal documents
- Conduct closings ensuring all procedures are followed
- Mortgage Loan Servicing
- Conduct Pre-Closing classes with future Homeowners
- Escrow Analysis
- Collections
- Maintains Confidentiality
- Adheres to internal policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements/Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years experience in loan processing/mortgage servicing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to change
- Must be detail oriented and able to focus on task completion
- Strong computer skills, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Access

Family Services Assistant
Family Services is in need of part-time assistant to work 28 hours per week.
Salary: $10 per hour
Requirements:

- Strong ability for marketing
- Must demonstrate each of the desired qualifications
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Must be bilingual, with the ability to interact in both English and Spanish
